ZachBraff.com Launches

It’s no secret: I’m a huge fan of Zach Braff. When I first saw him on Scrubs, I was sold. He then went and birthed the amazing Garden State (with a blog that he’s kept-up over time). After the release of Chicken Little, he posted a truly behind-the-scenes video update – and I wanted more. Zach has finally delivered through his own YouTube account:

This is announcing his new Web site, ZachBraff.com (natch). Rock on, man – I wish more celebs were like him (being “personalâ€? with fans instead of hiding behind some kind of PR flack. A couple of suggestions for you, Zach (if you’re even aware that this post exists): (1) Get an RSS feed on your site; (2) Never compose a blog entry in a Web Browser window – do it in Notepad or somewhere on your local computer so that it won’t get deleted next time; (3) You might wanna boost the volume a bit in your next video upload; (3) Don’t ever stop creating for the thrill of creating. I only played myself when I was on TV – so it’s quite nice to see that you’re being yourself online.

Zach Braff, star of Scrubs and the man behind Garden State (and its blog), has launched his own website. Thanks to Chris Pirillo for the link. As Chris noted, the site is lacking in RSS. Get RSS. Now please [IMG :)]

Yeah it also apparently isn’t viewing at all on Mozilla Firefox either.

I can see it fine on in my Firefox browser. And those glasses are hot!

Yeah, I’m a big fan of Zach as well for the same reason–he’s just such a down-to-earth guy.

Yeah the volume was far too quiet. Any maybe he needs to cut back a little on the flash. But otherwise, coolios. I’m sure going to be keeping up with this blog if he ever gets an RSS feed.

[...] I also agree with Chris Pirillo’s synopsis that it’s great to have a star that has the nounce and wit to handle his own public relations. I think Zach is a great guys and it’s good to see him interacting with his audience on their (well, my) level. [...]

I am a big fan of Zach’s as well. Did anyone find the easter eggs he mentioned in the video? How many are there?

Chris, someone must have noticed both you and I clamoring for an RSS feed… there’s now one on the site, it’s a feedburner feed:

[...] Chris Pirillo has some advice for celebrity blogger Zach Braff, who recently relaunched his famed blog at its new address ZachBraff.com. Among Pirillo’s tips: add an RSS feed and start using a blogging client (like ecto, which I use) so that he doesn’t accidentally lose entire posts. [...]
