My opinion is after installing vista beta 2 , it is finally possible to have a competitive challenge between Windows and OS X , but i ‘ve just bought my first Apple / MacBook Pro with of course OS-X and i am testing now Vista on my Pentium D desktop machine , i think clearly that there is a pretty good chance that Apple will increase it’s share of the market because , the difference in the price of the hardware u need to run vista on will be approaching the money u pay for OS-X system , i can say that OS-X uses manages his memory and resources a lot more efficient than vista , you’ll have to buy a system with dual xenon”s on to run it as fast as OS-X , i think microsoft is now not improving windows but degrading , and works together with hardware manufacturers to sell more and faster new hardware , if u look at an apple machine , it remains valuable after two years when selling it , u have a machine that is fully compatible with every bit of the OS, that would never be accomplished by Microsoft , don’t get me wrong , i ‘m not anti-microsoft because so far it worked quite well with me but now i’ve picked up a glinch of the future of microsoft with vista , and i am really disappointed , anyway , i will never buy vista , i can be sure of that , hail os-X
