Canon HQ address is “30-2, Shimomaruko 3-chome, Ohta-ku, Tokyo 146-8501, Japan”. They are not an American company, they just had Americans working the booth. Perhaps it wasn't that Canon doesn't care about you, Chris. Perhaps they didn't care about Comdex. Sometimes these shows obviate when major exhibitors are just going through the motions, but have really moved on. Perhaps this is an instance when a journalist reads between those lines.

If Gnomedex III is in Las Vegas I will praise you forever :-) That's the perfect place to have the convention!! Plus, I'm going to go be going from Los Angeles to San Francisco next summer and then Las Vegas would be the perfect ending to that vacation :-) Where do I send my check to, haha.
