You Can't Handle The TrueType
I love the smell of HTML in the morning. After downloading the latest WEFT (which is still, far and away, the most unusable piece of software on the planet), I've successfully embedded my handwriting font for people who don't already have it installed on their system. And even after going through all the trouble of getting it to work, I may wind up not using it in the end. The only thing I'm wrestling with now is the sidebar. I don't want to “float” it via CSS, as that causes strange issues if the user's resolution is set too low. I've got it in a table now, and while that might cause content overlapping, it's the least of all visual evils in my opinion.

I think you did a great job! It looks very cool…If you get tired of it you can always change it later :) BTW, I love your tagline – you should register it as a trademark (if it hasn't been already).

Hey Chris,
Just wanted to let you know that the new layout rocks. I am working on creating my own text type. I am also still working on the video for the blog. Let you know when it happens. Later

Hi Chris!!!
Love Call For Help. I found this blog quite by accident really and bookmarked it immediately after realizing that it was yours. I put your handwriting font on the sidebar at my site. I'd like to offer the font to my readers, giving you full credit of course. I assume, since you offered the download, that it's OK to use. Let me know here or there or in an e-mail if that's ok to do. Thanks!

You all expected any less from Chris? Come come now..as for myself, my legacy of becoming a well respected computer tech begins in a mere few months. Off to college I go, with a harsh goal in mind: follow in the path of the Pirillo.

Hope you stick with the Pirillo Handwriting font. It adds a whole new feel to a blog. Do what ever you wish with the design, but please keep the font alive!

I should add, I'm seeing a huge, blocky monospaced font, most likely lucida monospaced. It's huge and butt ugly :)

i HATE weft… ugh. it's horrible. it might be more worth it if it were cross-browser compatible, but even then.
i can't wait for the powers-that-be to solidify font embedding with css.

Don't say WEFT is unusable until you have tried creating a custom install with Microsoft's ORCA. It really is a killer app – it kills your sanity.
