I need a good portable mic for VO while I travel. The MXL and the The Audio-Technica AT2020 USB have my attention. I would love to get the promo code you have for amazon and do a price compare. Thanks!

Hey Chris,

You made a good decision by going for the AT2020. It's an Audio Technica. 'nuff said.

I strongly recommend that you get a shockmount. They can get a little pricey, though. But the shockmount will really be helpful in preventing noise when you handle the microphone and when you hit your table. It'll be a good investment.

Congratulations on the microphone!
