Chris, if you have any input to Yahoo's team, maybe you could suggest they implement an RSS feed for the top 10/50 podcasts, like Podcast Alley has.
The Yahoo search is good, but having new/good podcast links show up in my aggregator is very convenient.

> Looks like iTunes is getting a run for its money...
Clarification: Although they have their own WMP-like desktop player, Yahoo! Podcasts is actually a portal for finding new podcasts.
As such, it is more in competition with Podcast Alley than iTunes. Yahoo! Podcasts actually integrates with iTunes to use it as the podcatcher when syncing new podcasts with an iPod.
Really, they're doing Apple an immense favor by taking the load off Apple servers. Adam Curry himself (who worked with Apple to integrate podcasting with iTunes) said that Apple didn't want to rule over the podcast portal business.
Perhaps in the future Yahoo! intends an iTunes killer, but at this stage the main competition is with other portals.
