Xbox 360 vs PlayStation 3 vs Wii
http://live.pirillo.com/ – The console wars are underway, and the Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 are all fighting it out for the top spot in the video game industry. This generation of consoles has been out for a while and we want to know which one is better: the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or the Wii?
All three systems have their bright spots and their flaws.
Sony may have bit off more than it could chew with the Playstation 3: it attempted to build a media center to end all media centers on top of a gaming platform. It also significantly increased the price of the PS3 by including a Blu-ray drive, which limited its audience. It also doesn’t offer any significant competitor to Xbox Live, which is something the modern gamer is clamoring for.
Microsoft did something very smart with the Xbox 360: it upgraded the hardware and significantly improved the Xbox Live interface. By offering gamers the best online console service, it gained an upper hand on Sony and Nintendo.
The Wii didn’t follow in Microsoft and Sony’s footsteps. By offering a system that, in comparison to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, is underpowered, Nintendo was able to offer the console at a substantially lower price than the competition. Couple that with a smart marketing campaign, family friendly games, and a party atmosphere, and you have the makings of a hot product.

Playstation 3 is best!
We have all three – yes spoiled rotten. :-)
The Wii has some inovative games, but dosn’t look as good on a large screen being lower resolution. 360 has a great head start with loads of games, but is very noisy and gets hot (we had to pay £70 to get it repaired after it was 13 months old and just out of warranty).
PS3 provides us with a next gen video machine – some good Blu Ray films are starting to be released, and the games look simply awsome, with lots more to come.

It’s great that the systems are each different in that you can focus on one to suit your tastes. If you’re into high end graphics get a PS3. If you like more interaction and an easy, affordable interface, get the Wii. If you want to interact more online with folks go for the Xbox.
I’m not a fan of the controllers on the MS/Sony devices, nor do I like the cost of them. I’ve tried the Wii out and really like it, as does my wife. We plan to pick one up in the near future, but will wait until the supply improves and we don’t have to pay a premium trying to find it, the one knock I have on the Wii.

lol the wii is the best in my opinon the classic games are cool. the media center is ok and the new gaming style is cool and fresh. plus the internet is so cool is you want a jack of trades get a wii!!
