So Bumptop.. saw this sensation on ted.com, where i am a regular viewer, when i saw its going beta but for limited people… i am really disappointed…

but let me try out bumptop in windows 7 beta and would give a review in it??

BumpTop. I’ve seen the videos in multiple sources and was fascinated by the simplicity of use. The challenges of cross platform integration while using minimal memory sources will decide the outcome.

This looks really nice, im guessing it works with xp. just hope i get it now :) I’ve always wanted to beta test software that was exclusive, but i cant sign up to windows connect until i get my own computer. Which hopefully will be soon,

I would like access to Bumptop. I have a tablet pc and bumptop seems a perfect complement to the tablet form factor with its gestures etc.

Bumptop is perfect for users with arthritis. “Drag and sweep” is far easier than clicking when fingers are stiff.

One problem I deal with on a daily basis, after a traumatic brain injury, is in layman’s terms: “out of sight, out of mind”. For example, I have my food on shelves in a closet so that it is all together or I would forget I have the food (I usually don’t remember to look elsewhere). You can imagine what I go through trying to find folders and applications on my computer. I forget which icons I choose for a folder, so I stick to words, but then I am overwhelmed by that …

Anyway, from what I have seen, Bumptop could possibly be a tool that will change “out of sight, out of mind” into “in my sight, in my mind” … and perhaps drastically reduce the time I waste trying to find files and applications.

One of my favorite features of bump top is the “Bump Folder.” This will index what is inside a folder on your desktop, and will pile them, even though they are not on your desktop. When you double click, it will expand in a grid, like a regular pile.

Another cool thing about this is the pinups on the sides. It definitely makes the desktop more “personal.” You can add music playlist shortcuts and pin them up, to keep them accessible.

One thing I would like to have it dual monitor support. Currently if you have 2 or more monitors, the bumptop app only resides on the primary monitor, with all the other monitors remain with the old non-bumptoppy desktop.

I’ve used this program before and I like it. But sadly I will be having to redo my computer and will lose the one time install for the code and will need a new code. So here’s hoping i win and merry Christmas to everyone.

i would like to have a beta key because the vista gui is too slow for this laptop and it would be a real help and this would really come in handy and keeping my programs files and my icons all tidy so this software would be good who wants a good clean looking desktop

I would love to beta this. I have tried sphere before and used it for about 6 months. I think this would be a really neat utility to use and would love to give some feedback on the way it runs and how it would affect the most important thing of all, the end user.
