Will it ever end?

It started with the almost move, then it was the almost-almost move, then it was finding a house, preparing to do the new move, setting up the honeymoon, closing on the house, moving across town, getting married later that week (and entertaining family), setting up new / old services, beginning the unpacking process, getting hit with a power outtage, and Christmas is in less than a week and I haven’t received (or even had a chance to dent) Ponzi’s list yet.
When… will… this… madness… end?!
I don’t know what my mental or physical limits are, but I’m pretty sure I’ve been pushed beyond them in recent weeks. Worse yet, I just discovered I missed out on a 40% off sale at Office Depot (where I ordered office furniture today). I’m sure my biorhythm has been spiking and dipping every other hour over the past couple of months.
Optimize 3.0 is an excellent tool to have in your arsenal. Use it to clean up your computer, free up space by removing junk files, and to generally speed up your computer. You spend a lot of time using your machine... don't you want it to run at its optimum speed and efficiency?

I tried something similar during last Thanksgiving, and both my wife and I ended up with double pneumonia. We had to take several courses of antibiotics to kill it. Be careful!
On the bright side, the holidays is a good excuse to sit back and relax. Enjoy your new home (and new wife!) I would look for another sale for the furniture – you may be able to ask for the difference in price. Check your return policy, and point out you could just return the furniture and then re-buy it. I have done it a few times, but sometimes you have to talk to the manager.

If you missed the 40% off sale, I say you go in the store and ask for a manager. Politely explain how much craziness you’ve been going through and tell him that you want the discounted price on your stuff. If you’re buying a bunch of furniture, I’ll bet they’ll mark it down a bit.

Hey Chris! I’ve been a fan of your blog for some time now, but never left a comment.
So, I’m getting more involved.
Hope you Christmas shopping picks up some speed! Right there with yah brother. Have a great day!

Stay strong, at least the holiday finish line is near! Get some sleep if you can, my wife and I made the mistake of lying down at 5:30pm on Sunday, we ended up sleeping until morning.

A quick tip for unpacking after moving: Unpack as much if not everything in one weekend. Trust me, youu don’t want boxes to pile up.

Wee. What fun! Sounds like my December.. except my wife is also 33 weeks pregnant. Cant. Wait. Until. Spring. Not that the stress will evaporate but perhaps we’ll have less? Please?

NO, it will never end! Although I didn’t have all the trials and tribulations that you and Ponzi have endured-no electricity for 3 days sucks- I now have the infamous Xmas headcold, so all activity as far as Xmas is concerned has come to a grinding halt. I am taking some Theraflu Severe Cold along with some “Homepathetics” (I love that, mind if I use it?) that seem to help a bit, but am still pretty miserable. Just try to think of how relaxed and mellow you’ll feel while on your cruise in a couple of weeks, that should get you through all the holiday stress. I am sure Ponzi will understand if you don’t get everything on her “list”.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA….
Oh wait… You’re serious?
Don’t buy furniture from Office Depot. They are crooks. Go to a real furniture store or order online. It would most likely be cheaper than their “40% off” anyway.
