Great new gig and much closer to his son Patrick. Then there’s Mr. Sandquist playing with his daughter Josie and teaching her to skateboard. And there’s me with my three little bears. Mr. Pirrillo and Ponzi just added puppies to their family. While not kids… puppies are just as loving and frustrating. So, it kinda counts too. Our horde consists of the big mutt named Chewbacca, the little toy fox terrier named Roo (when very tiny every attempt to run turned into hopping), the schnauzer called Sassy and the newest to our house, a strange blonde little low rider named Wicket. Wicket should perhaps have been named Linus. We found him at the shelter and the vet's best guess is that he's about two years old. But he loves his little stuffed toys that my wife buys him at the dollar store and from clearance racks. Most of them eventually die an unpleasant death with "baby guts" being trailed through the house. But he has one stuffed bone that is his "security toy". He carries it around a lot without ever hurting it. His short little legs don't let him hop up on the bed but he'll pick up his security bone, hop up on a chair next to the bed, ready himself and hop up on the bed. Then he turns around to face us, set his toy down and rest his chin on it while he keeps an eye on his humans.

Dogs are great. Except he'd also pee himself if you got angry at him, or occassionally if he got really excited (like when I'd come home after not being around for a few days and my housemates took care of him).Once or twice he got so scared/intimidated that he rolled on his back and then began projectile urination. Not a pretty sight. Still miss having him around though!

Great post :)

My dog back in NY had the same problem you described in the first half. Granted he gets the better end of the deal, laying in the sun for the majority of the day. But dogs rock!BTW: Smart way to solve the problem, I will have to remember that.

Dogs rock!
