Epoch time started January 1, 1970. According to the Epoch clock, we hit 1234567890 today! Now you will be able to say where you were when that time passed! I swear it, gumdrops were falling from the sky in Seattle, and yes – I really did chair dance!
Unix time is a system for describing points in time, defined as the number of seconds elapsed since midnight Coordinated Universal Time of January 1, 1970, not counting leap seconds. On February 13, 2009 at exactly 23:31:30 (UTC), Unix time was equal to ’1234567890′. Parties and other celebrations were held around the world, among various technical subcultures, to celebrate 1234567890 day.
