i need i good service where i can manage my files...set a password, can share my files with others...but i mean without that i have to upload one file and send that link to a friend or so...

i think the best is where you have a link...to a kind of folder and you can click on that items in that folder and you can download...know what i mean?

anyway many services do that but i think the most want money -.-

Thanks for the sites! They're cool.
Mostly I used rapidshare, and now they took away the time waiting so it's great. I used to use yousendit, but starts sucking for me so i never use it again hehe. Saludos Chris! =) (yeah, in spanish, from Argentina)

So many people use rapidshare these days but so much of rapidshares file are illegal, not that people really care about downloading illegal stuff these days as so many people do with music and stuff. Ive only ever used one file host which was esnips, brilliant! website 6GB free of charge. 10/10 website.

Mediafire is good but it is limited with like 100MB limit (I didn;t check). The best thing is to use a domain, or get a domain, and get direct links to it. Use hostmonster.com to host the website and it gives you unlimited space*. So files will be given like this, www.yourdomain.com/file/
*It says it's unlimited and it is but it's really not, because of CPU and Bandwidth stuff.

I actually use Filefront.com. Free and it works well. There are lots of websites with these capibilities. The thing with filefront is lots of adds but you don't have to wait to download. Anyone can download but you have to register to upload but the thing is you can modify, delete and add videos, files, and photos. I have heard of many many websites with free uploads. Mediafire and filefront are the top of the list for me

drop.io is great, my parents love it because it's very easy and simple to use. and then i like using mediafire for myself to trade pictures i work on for graphic design because i dont have to compress them and can put all the files need in to a zip and dont have a limit other then that 100mb which is plenty. thanks for the review chris.

I use basically 2 websites:
1- I use my personal website for files relating to it, mostly pertaining to WoW.
2- filedropper.com -> by far the best file hosting service i've come across. evar.

I personally like FileDen. It has a really nice UI and the ability do upload/edit multiple files at a time. You have a lot of storage and lots of bandwith. Best of all, it's free! You can upgrade to an account with more storage, and bandwith, and it also includes FTP. That's why I like FileDen.

I have to admit that media fire looks and seems really interesting. I also use 000webhosting for uploading certain files to the internet.
It's almost like you don't need a hard drive anymore when you can just upload all of your files to the internet. Is the future of computers even more web based than it is right now? I think it's heading that way. Lets just assume to call it the "Server Era". OKmaybe that is a bit dumb but it does seem to be heading towards that way.

Mediafire is pretty good. I've used it on Facebook a few times and it's come in handy especially when I'm somewhere else and not at my computer and need access to my files. I can download them from anywhere. The 100mb limit isn't even that bad.
