Where do You go to Find Music Online?

Add to iTunes | Add to YouTube | Add to Google | RSS Feed

Sometimes you may have a song running through your head. You may know the artist and title of the song, but you cannot find it online. You want to hear the song, yes. But you don’t want to have to surf for the right video on YouTube, and you don’t want to download something in order to be able to listen. So what now? When you just want to hear a song, try using JustHear!t.

JustHear!t is becoming the place for music online. It is the most innovative on-demand music discovery service. You can listen instantly to any song you want without signing up (or paying for!) anything.

Simply go to the website, and type in the song you want to hear. Hit your enter key – and there you go. Listen to your song. Yeah – it really is that easy. Sort by song or by artist… or even metadata.

It even finds really obscure stuff. There’s so much more out there that you don’t realize is there, because you’re using the wrong search tool. You can use YouTube, but you’ll only get results from YouTube. You can use Google, but then you will get thousands of things you did not mean to look for, and we know how much of a pain that can be at times.

So if all you want to do is actually listen to music, then try out JustHear!t today.

Dude, thanks for this. I’ve always wanted a site like that. Thanks again so much!

On a similar theme, grooveshark is great, particularly with it’s auto-playlist feature.

I normally use Pandora but now I might start using this. I like to use Pandora because I don’t know most of the names of that songs that I like due to the radio stations failure to announce the name or the failure of the memory section of my brain….

JustHear!t seems to have a spectacular interface, but you still have to deal with the insufficient quality of the audio which is generally recorded through a camera’s internal mic. For online music Pandora is by far the best. I use Pandora on my iPhone, PlayStation 3(through the browser), and on my Mac through PandoraBoy. You just can’t beat the Music Genome Project when it comes to choosing good songs and the availability of Pandora is unparalleled.

The hearit.com site seems a bit awkward to me with the hard to read black background. It seems to pull up YouTube video without letting you know, and I hate any sound source from low quality Youtube files. Don’t see much to convice me to change from my other music site. Pandora is still the best quality although it takes a lot of CPU processing occassionally because of all the ads now appearing there.

I use seeqpod – but I’m going to take a look on this

I dont see whats wrong with last.fm – infact I think it has more stuff than JustHear!t. But then again some of the stuff on Last.fm is only 30 sec clips. Its 50/50 between them.

I use Deezer.com but i might try this

Looking forward to checking out JustHearIt, but so far, I’ve been blown away by Songza when I want to find a specific song. I have yet to stump it, and I’ve thrown it some real doozies.
