By the time I got to 3:25 in this video, I had wished that Mr. Pirillo told me that advice when I was in school.

I'm kicking myself in the ass for it now.

For students who are in school and plan on getting a car, a good way to save money on their car insurance is to get good grades. By getting good grades, they can get a "Good Student" discount.

Chris,

As a college instructor in psychology, students often ask me similar questions about tips for studying, getting better grades, and making academic life a bit easier.

One thing I recommend to all my students is to make their reading assignments manageable. For example, if a class homework assignment is 30 pages and is due in 3 days, make it easy by reading 10 pages a day. Each day, take quick notes on what was read and review the previous notes before and after reading.

Another tip is to stay well-organized. Most of the office supply stores have huge desk calendars for under $5. Writing assignments and other reminders, e.g. birthdays, meetings, bills to pay, on a desk calendar as well as a program like iCal can help any student stay organized.

For my own organization and notes, I like to use MacJournal. It has integration with a number of apps and is a great note-taker. I've also had a student recommend the program iProcrastinate - 60.

Great job and topic. Thanks again!
