I've had this problem recently on my own blog. I found that going to a psyciatrist was expensive, took alot of time and effort to schedule around my timetable and was all-in-all unhelpful. Blogging about something can help in that it gets the infomation out of your mind, so you can deliberate and see what other people would do in the same situation, but I agree, it's more often than not infomation that people will use against you. Which they have.

Why consult a psychologist when there are hundreds of people meandering around flotsam and jetsam ready to offer their assistance? Internet is cheaper
