What’s Your Favorite Party Favor?

I don’t know why I didn’t show off this little gadget to you all before. I’ve had it for about ten years. I saw it one day at a fair, and had to have it. If you notice, you just swing it around, and the LED lights blink in succession. It’s an optical illusion. It says “Let’s Party!” in the lights. You can push a button and change what it says.

The Skyliner comes with eleven preset messages you can twirl through the air:

  • Awesome
  • Cool
  • Love You
  • Happy New Year
  • Happy Birthday
  • Help
  • Cheer!
  • Nice!
  • It’s Magic!
  • Sensational
  • Let’s Party

There’s space on there for you to program up to three of your own messages, as well. It’s pretty easy to do, since there’s nothing external to it. It’s fun to bring to a party or event… even a ball game. Everyone’s going to think you’re cool, and want one of their own.

These are really cool. I used to have one and I let one of my friends convince me to take it off my hands to make a cool attachment on one of his car wheels. When he was speeding down the street we were able to read messages on his wheel. That was high school :P

Brookstone has those clocks that do that. You can program them to say preset messages like Happy New Year or any message you want.

I think they break easily, though. (I used to work there.)

Somehow I found your posts ans just thought I would say hi!

Hope all is well
