You know I’m addicted to USB gadgets. The last time I looked at a microscope, I mentioned that my ProScope was broken. Someone saw that video, and they sent me a new one! So now, I’m busy playing with my new ProScope HR.

The ProScope™ brings unprecedented flexibility and excitement to the learning process. Gone are the frustrations of conventional microscopes. Finally, the teacher and student can focus on what is important. Encased in high-impact plastic, The ProScope™’s rugged construction and high-quality components are sturdy enough for a crime scene or a K-12 classroom.

Interchangeable lenses provide The ProScope™ with tremendous versatility. With the 0-10X lens, The ProScope™ becomes a high-quality video camera. Magnification can be increased to a startling 200X power in a matter of seconds. The lens mount is an industry-standard C-Mount that will accept third-party lenses.

The coolest part is that I can take a still photo of anything I want with the touch of a button on the ProScope. I can also record video, or use the kit to mount the ProScope and take a time-lapse with the software. There are a variety of lenses you can pick up, which is excellent when you’re using this in an educational setting.

The LEDs are built into the lense itself, so you can always perfectly see. It’s never too light, or too dark. Once you start looking at things close up, you just can’t stop. You just keep wanting to see everything. This is definitely fun for kids and adults alike.
