Since you’re having trouble comprehending the situation, a visible, glowing, transparent Buddha would be annoying and make it difficult for most of us (probably even some Buddhists) to sleep. The same would hold true if the glowing Buddha were replaced with a glowing ‘Howdy-Doody”doll.

A Gideon Bible placed in a drawer would create no such annoyance. Neither would a Koran, a Torah, or a book on Wiccan ceremonies.

Just stating the obvious for you and other slow-on-the-uptake leftists who can’t understand the difference between an anti-alternative-religion rant and someone expressing their annoyance with gaudy hotel decor.

California, US Highway 101, The Madonna Inn. Never stayed there myself, but those folks are world-renowned for “gaudy” themed rooms.

Based on what you wrote, I’m curious about your opinion regarding Gideon Bibles left in the night stand’s drawer?
