What’s New in iPhone OS 3.0?
We’ll know in a few weeks. What are you most wanting to see in the new operating system? Assuming it’ll run on all currently-deployed iPhones…

I hope that on the new iPhone 3.0 OS, there is Landscape SMS (WideScreen Text Messaging), Video Recording, Windows Live Hotmail support, Camera Zooming Support (same with video recordings), background images (for app desktop), custom icon choices, over 10+MB downloads accepted on EDGE and 3G networks for the app store or iTunes, Landscape Keyboard for e-mail, Contacts app able to be hidden (not the contacs list, the app with the brown contacts book), Widescreen Video Cover Flow (Separate from Music Cover Flow.) if ALL of those features are implemented to the iPhone 3.0 Software, I’ll probably be one of the happiest iPhone owners yet!

You know what’s funny? Just about all of you discribed a jailbroken iPhone 3G.
I really just want anything new. I am sure they will be rolling out the iPod shuffle’s voice over too. And now that I think about it the other thing that would be cool is the video chat.
Yeah but I think all of you are about to pay ~$200 for a jailbroken iPhone. Although this is apple. You never know what kind of awesomeness is in store.

I want copy and paste.
Also I like the new Kindle app as far as its access to the Kindle store, though It needs to be expanded to newspapers and magazines. I hope that Apple is working with Amazon on something big here.

This may well require a model overhaul. but. 1) decent mp camera with video recording facility. 2) fm radio 3) better battery life [with web browsing and internet radio use, the battery is rinsed within just a few hours] 4) multimedia messaging. 5) text function to forward messages 6) Iphone compatible flash player 7) a working bluetooth whichs allows data to be sent between phones and computers 8) wireless synching (this has been said before) 9) more powerful speakers 10) capacity for using ipod tunes for ringtones 11) business software similar to word and excel 12) speech recognition 13) GPS facility adaptable to in-car use like tom tom or navman 14) bigger memory: 8-16 GB surely this can be bigger? 15) facility to personalise home screen etc without having to jailbreak.
It’s not beyond the realms of technology – is it?

I want to see it UNLOCKED so we can choose who we want as our cell phone provider or at least have the option of paying to have it LEGALLY unlocked like you can in the land down under and other countries.
