What’s Life Like in The Sims?

Lisa decided to render me in The Sims:

My mini story line involves you re-doing your home office and including an altar dedicated to worshipping Weird Al. At first, all you would do is laugh. First, the outtake. Then you cooperated, and did some devotionals to a photo / poster of Weird Al.

After that, you and Ponzi start dancing to “White and Nerdy.”

I think I reproduced you quite well! Had a tough time with Ponzi, but she looks good. I’ll have some funny videos / story lines going in the future with these Sims. Stay Tuned!

I don’t know whether I should be impressed or frightened (or both)?

Despite having access to the game, I’ve never really played The Sims. I used to play Sim City back in the day, then moved on to Sim Earth when that was available – when I was in high school. A friend and I used to spend our lunch time in the “computer room” at Southeast Polk, evolving our planet to the point where two undocumented things happened: (1) we inadvertently spawned artificial intelligence, and (2) somehow developed a sentient species of meat-eating plants called Carniferns.
