I always wanted a Lite Brite when I was a kid. I think I got to play with paper and crayons...maybe just the paper. We were wither too poor to buy a Lite Brite or my dad just thought they were a waste of money. I now have 2 for my little ones to use. Great creative toy.

Favorite toys when I was a little kid was a set of wood blocks. Later, a set of "Shootin Shell" cap guns ("you'll shoot your eye out").

It all depended on my age. When I was very little I had this thing for a Jack-in-the-box. My parents went nuts trying to find one for me for Christmas. When I got older it was my trucks. I would create roads all over the place under the porch. When I got into high school it was girls. ;-) I haven't changed since high school.

A shiny rock, we were so poor, couldn't afford a lump of coal.
..mom would kill me if she saw that 
Seriously... a little camera, don't remember what kind it was, but I loved it. At 9, I knew photography was the best "toy" in the world. Now, I still want new camera, lenses for Christmas, they just cost way more.

You brought back fond memories - I loved Lite Brite! Other favourites included the game Kerplunk, my Wonder Woman barbie, and the Easy Bake Oven. I liked the idea of the Spirograph but I was Spirograph challenged and could never actually make it work.

You are fun Chris! Thanks for the entertainment break in my marathon copywriting day.
