Convert pictures to different formats and it even opens up .psd files and digital camera raw images. I have CS3 and I have been working with graphics for about 5 years now, I have been trying very hard to make a career out of it. Photoshop allows for almost ALL types of work with photos and whatever else you use it for. It is a seamless form of photo design, and I love it, I truly do. Honestly, I am a Photoshop user. You can enhance image colors, gamma, brightnes,..., rotate, sharpen, blur, crop, make customized wallpapers, before-after review the results, batch convert with advanced options (my favourite), batch rename, folder-tree organized search, keyboard shortcuts, and lots of lots of other useful stuff. Celestia, the best astronomy program there is, very complete, realistic and fun; well, actually it's not only for windows, it has his linux and Mac (I think) versions.
