What is Your Favorite USB Device?

I have tons of USB devices. I admit it… I probably need a 12-step program. I’m addicted to USB gadgets and gizmos! I have tons of them, and have gotten rid of many more. Thanks to my friends over at ThinkGeek, I have finally found my favorite USB device of all time! Meet the Tengu.

Here we have a cute little white plastic brick with a face made of LEDs. The tiny microphone in the base picks up sounds in the room, whether it’s music, or your loudmouth boss, and makes his mouth move in time. It’s like he’s lip synching to the song! Kinda like Britney, only much much smaller, and probably smells better.

He’s USB powered, so plug him in to any powered USB port, set him near your favorite sound-source, and your little buddy will perform for you all day long!

If you look around on YouTube, you may just find some video clips of me playing with the Tengu last night. Some people say I like him a little too much, and had a little too much fun. Do you know what I say to that? There’s no such thing as too much fun!! I’ll never grow up! I’ll never grow old! You have fun being an old fuddy-duddy if you want. I’ll be the one playing with my Tengu and laughing hysterically all day long.

My fave would be my Doctor Who TARDIS USB hub. When you plug a device into it the dematerialisation sounds & flashing dome light activate! I have one at home AND at work.

My favourite is much more practical I’m afraid.
I love USB key disks! I’ve experienced the pain of 5¼” and 3½” discs and these USB devices are way better, cheaper, faster, more reliable and more portable.
Oh, I also love my USB Lacie Brick 320Gb External HDD…I can take my life anywhere I go.
Ahhhhhh, technology!

LOL the tengu is so awesome, coolest USB toy ive ever seen.

I love Tengu….

My favorite USB device has to be Tengu !!!!! lol

My favourite usb device would have to be the lava lamp and a ipod.

Nice posting chris. There are so many usb gadgets out there. I think my favorite is my ipod because it syncs with iTunes.

A MUST have is, of course, the Chill Pad for your notebook. But that’s more of say a peripheral device maybe?

But my favorite devices are things that move and react depending what is input on your computer. Such as USB robots and just TOYS!! TOYS TOYS TOYS!! Go h*****g dog go!!

usb flash drives are mine

my fav usb i would say is my phone charger

I agree! There’s no such thing as too much fun! My favorite USB device is probably the very thin flash drives…unless I lose them, then that’s not so great.

Mine is no doubt the USB Retro Microphone AM-FM Radio. It has a really cool look to it and IMHO it would look great sitting on your desk Chris.

Hello,

I find myself in agreeance with several of the other respondents. USB solid state external flash drives are very convenient devices.

My favorite USB Device. A Harley-sounding motorcycle engine USB Hub. Watch the video!

My favorite USB device is my IPOD of course!

Despite popular belief, the USB Humping Dog isn’t my “favorite” USB device. My favorite is my mini Bluetooth Adaptor. I can do anything I want with my phones and other accessories. And for only $5, you gotta love it (and eBay :) )

My god, the extent of my love for usb device is absolutely INSANE!

I love usb device and just picking ONE is out of the question

LIke Chris always say

” You can never have too many USB’s”

And i thought my USB toys were cool and fun :(

iPod, Roller Ball Wheel Mouse, Sidekick, Memory Stick…..boring…

All my toys are gadgets, but that’s a real toy. Very cool. I saw your video the other day, it was funny as hell…
