What is Your Color?

What’s your color? Is it #3A68A7? That’s a really Geeky hex color! I’m not asking your favorite color. My favorite color happens to be red. It’s a good, strong color! However, what I’m asking for is what your color is, as defined by your first and last name – and your birthdate! If you don’t know, you can easily find out over on Colourism.
Simply put in your first and last name, and then add your birthday. Click the “Tell me my Colour!” button. You will then receive your color. Mine happens to be a brick red color! How astute of the site. My companion color is a shade of blue that’s pretty cool looking.
You can print your color onto things like a mug or mousepad. You can also check out a list of other users, and their color combinations.
Kat is quite happy with her color. Think Mike is going to let her paint their living room that color? I’m not sure about that, but I do know that this service is a great way to personalize your life according to YOUR color!
What is your color? Leave us the hex code for it as a response to this video so we can all compare.

Hrm. Apparently “my” colour is slate grey, and its companion colour is a light greyish blue. WTF?

I’m so much more fun than that, I swear! :p

Thats a nice idea and the site really creates friendly colors. Mine became: http://www.colourism.com/user.php?id=46167
But as a hexcolor I absolutely prefer as background-color:#fffff0 as a replacement for white on a coding editor. It has some yellowish touch and feels a little bit friendlier than the bright white.

#B88AA9 It’s amazing, since purple is my favorite color, and that is certainly a variation of purple.

Ugh! As long as it’s understood that the “personal color” calculated at Colourism.com is not the same as “favorite color,” then we’re good.
I actually did it twice; first using my full first name (Jonathan) with this result:
Color-DEECEF, Complimentary-EFE1DE
Those colors are far too light for my taste, so I tried again using Jon, and was even less pleased (if that’s possible) with these colors:
Color-FEEEEF, Complimentary-EEFEFD
These were even lighter and were almost indistinguishable from the white background! All my favorite colors are bold or dark.
Oh, well….it was still sorta fun.
Thanks!

My color is a dark pink which I’ve never seen before – but always been amused with my menus on laptop in some kind of lighter pink.
The complimentary color was a light turquiose what was almost the color I use for my mail signature[a one touch deeper turquoise].
To me this is kinda funny because these two colors make everything reasonable.
This dark pink is a very powerful color and it says to me that something important is changing in my life.
My color in hex is this one:#FC3465.
My complimentary colour is this one :#34FCCB.
