Im not sure.. I don't really see value in an application interface that runs on teh desktop given the proliferation of browser based technology. Granted user interface responsiveness is much improved. However, FF and MS Internet Explorer are working on improving the painfully slow render times for the browser. Which is the platform in "cross platform" ubiquitous applications. -my 2 cents. will the desktop RIA ever really take off? Im not sure..
