i've been testing out this new application called samesurf, it's an app that lets you surf the web and chat together in real time, has anyone else been able to test it out? It's pretty cool!

I have been using Maxthon since it was called MyIE2 (0.3.x) and have been stuck with it since then. It have everything that MSIE 6 lacks. Tabs, mouse gesture, groups, skins, plugins and for all one of the best AD-filter I been using. With some work from your self, it keeps your most visited pages completly AD-free. With plugins & skins you can modify it's behaviour and look just like FF.

I'm still using Maxthon 1.5.x, have not update to IE 7 so I don't feel that I need Maxthon 2 yet. Both IE7 & Maxthon 2 needs some time and effort to get used to.

I use Opera, because I like the widgets you can download, and it has IRC chat built-in.

I have tried them all & settled on Avant Browser.
It is quick & has a very slick AutoFill feature for passwords etc.
Try it, you'll like it

I know that everyone says Maxthon isn't a "different" browser, as it uses IE's engine. But I love Maxthon. I've gotten used to the mouse gestures (for example, to open a link in a new tab, hold down the left mouse key on the tab, then "flick" the mouse to the right). It seems to load faster than IE. It has more security features than IE. To me it seems much more customizable.

I use Maxthon 2.0.3. I find that it is easily configured, has a large number of plugins and the built in ad hunter is about the best I've seen. I have previously used Firefox, but I didn't like the tab configuration. Slimbrowser and CrazyBrowser are others I've used but Maxthon is by far the best.

Maxthon. Hands down. I've used IE6, IE7, Firefox, Safari, and wound up using Maxthon for it's customization, better tabbed browsing, etc....

Firefox is KING! I do however hat the way it manages download links - it doesn't interface very nicely with the download managers I've tried, and is goofy when loading up PDFs inside the browser. I've set it to open PDFs in Acrobat rather than open them inside the browser, and it now just downloads them to my default download folder and doesn't open them.
FF also falls short when downloading from Joomla-based sites running a download area using most of the various components, and I have to open the pages in the IT Tab plugin for FF!

My colleagues use IE7, and I keep IE6 on my machine, so we can test sites as much as possible, and I use Safari on the Macs.

On the mobile phone, I use IE, but I'm thinking about giving Opera Mobile another run, but it does nark me that it charges.

I use IE7 for RSS reading, and Firefox for most of my other browsing needs.... I like the Firefox extensions, (Adblock Plus for one), but for me, IE7's RSS management is quite nice....
Unfortunately, my Linux box is very old and clunky, so neither KDE nor Gnome work well on it....

"The thing I find most helpful [about Konqueror] is that when I type into the address bar, it incrementally searches through my bookmarks for pages matching that URL (unfortunately, it isn’t extended beyond and also searching the title I gave the link, but it is livable)."

I've been wanting this feature in Firefox for years. To me it seemed an obvious feature to have, considering I'm way more likely to be returning to a site that I've bookmarked than one I just happened to have visited since the last time I deleted the history (which happens whenever I close FF).
