I think adobe air is a great idea it gurantees cross platform. more developers should take advantage of it.

I just installed the craigslist app. in my opinion, it works great. although, it seems to lag just a bit on my MBP. Also I would like to see the app as a widget.

I would like to have tried the Adobe AIR platform having become fascinated by this project, however I found that much to my dissatisfaction, my platform (Ubuntu 7.10) wasn’t supported. Maybe it is their way of acknowledging that they are not grown up enough to realize that Linux is growing up. Who knows?

It is probably a good thing though, because Ubuntu does seem to be having a few disagreements with my computer’s specs to the effect of my CPU barely able to cope with me writing this comment. =)

Let me tell you Fotobooth is simply amazing! It is really fun to mess with, i sadly enough do not own a mac, but i am fortunate enough to own a notebook with webcam, and let me tell you, it makes for entertaining at parties and small get togethers :)

good point. i think abobe air is going to become awesome. i use twirhl and it is pretty awesome. adobe air is really the new WIDGET!

Hey chris,
I have tried out 2 of these air apps fotoboth and iSpy. Fotoboth is ok in my view I like how simple it is to use but I agree with you the program is still a little rough. Now iSpy i really like becuase my dumb sister aways come and takes my laptop out of my room and now I finaly caught her. Thanks for the tips.

Hey, Chris, I was just wondering if you knew if Adobe AIR apps where going to come to Linux anytime soon. I go to their website to download it and it says that my platform isn’t supported. I hope they plan on supporting Linux soon, because Adobe AIR looks really neat, I’ll have to try it out.
