Werner Vogels

Confirmed Gnomedex Discussion Leader: Werner Vogels. Yeah, that’s the CTO of Amazon – getting ready to jump on stage and lead a conversation about Web Services. Amazon’s been doing an awful lot with that lately – just ask Jeff. Amazon isn’t sponsoring Gnomedex (though I’m not sure why), but Werner’s going to be there based on merit. I gotta see if someone over there can help us get OpenSearch RSS for Gada.be…

That is odd that they do not see a good opportunity to promote their latest efforts at the ‘Dex, but after this year I suspect they will be all over it next year.

I’m not sure I understand what that means… you want Gada.be to output OpenSearch? That’s not very difficult and you don’t need Amazon’s help http://opensearch.a9.com/

So you say – but we’ve yet to get it going. It would be infinitely more helpful if someone who knew how to do it could help (and get paid for their help).
