I have been married for the better part of 24 years, and I agree wholeheartedly that money matters. Our worst arguments have been over money. But really, why are we forced to watch this tripe? Network TV has been sliding down the side of thw toilet bowl for a number of years now and this show is KY to speed up the slide.

I hadn't heard about this show until I read the stories that The Smoking Gun had released on Mr. Millionaire. Apparently, he cannot afford highway toll (http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/ewmarriott1.html), and he's modeled underwear for $1k (http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/marriott1.html).

Bah Humbug. Never watched that crap never will. It was a good idea though. But still, unless im watching something funny, or tech tv, i dont want tv at all. Its all so sex and money driven these days. It seems whenever you dont see something creative, or new, then there is a naked girl standing next to it. Dont get me wrong i love naked girls. BUt i also like to watch quality tv shows, or listen to original music. Like that Christina Agulsomething chick. New dirty album sold more than any other album she made, and shes half naked in the video and on the cover. Point being. I didnt watch that tv filth.

We watched that tonight and it was like a bad train wreck. Could. not. look. away. I blogged it myself — but I don't know what was sadder. The women throwing themselves at him because he was a millionaire (”a prince…my fairy tale come true”). Or his repeated attempts to find the one who was looking for him and not the money. Hello. They wouldn't have shown up for a $19K/year construction worker. Doesn't mean they wouldn't have got to know him and liked him eventually under different circumstances. But not in that setting. And it's certainly not why they were there to begin with.
