I'm glad to see MS update IE, but IMHO you guys are crazy to recommend that they 'lift' features from Maxthon or Firefox. Frankly, they have a LONG WAY to go before either of the reach the usability of Irider . It's based on IE, but if you try it you'll NEVER use anything else.

Umm… you mean that the other way around, right?
Most every feature in Firefox was lifted from Maxthon(MyIE2), Avant, or NetCaptor (the first tabbed browser). All of which have been around far, far longer.

Microsoft did NOT listen and therefore you have this crapware currently called IE. It has more holes than swiss cheese (not to insult swiss cheese).
Maxathon is a dream when it comes to what options we would want within IE – yes. The developers should look at Maxathon, I agree. I also think that the MS developers need to look at Firefox more indepth to understand what makes it a better browser than IE and Maxathon altogether.
Just my 2 cents..

Firefox *is* being updated, *does* pay attention to standards, and *has* listened to what users want– why is it again that you won't use it?

It was nice to be in the audience today at RSA when Gates announced IE 7.0. It is a long time comming. Just hope they add TABS!!

i hope the upgrade is worth downloading, i love firefox but microsoft has done a good job in making some of there sites not work well with the fox.
