Web 2.1 – A BrainJam for the rest of us
I'm honored to have partially inspired Web 2.1- A BrainJam for the rest of us. I really believe we're going to see more of these smaller “thinking” events crop up over the next few years – especially when there's another event going on at the same time. Like many, I'm experiencing the Web 2.0 conference from afar; catching the cool announcements online instead of in-person. Had I the choice, I'd certainly support Web 2.1 (and everything it stands for). Gotta thank TechCrunch for breaking everything down for me to digest; I'll be watching Ning with great interest – could make a great extension to Lockergnome.
Though the Web 2.0 conference would have been great to attend, I'm actually stuck at home working on a Web service that aims to launch by week's end. ;) Actually, a genius developer friend of mine (and a friend of his) are making last minute optimizations before we do a global unveiling.
