For all of you that thought I was crazy to be worried that Chris might do away with the free subscriptions, why don't you support your Yahoo!? Aren't these guys just trying to make a living?

Aick! I had my whole life in Yahoo and now I am attempting to ween myself from it…I sent them an email and I suggest other Yahoo!s do so as well…even if you are cancelling service, like me – dont do it quietly -.

And as of April 24th my 5 year run with Yahcrap, including my e-mail account, Geocities page and any other thing associated with them will also end. Their service and support has sucked for the last year anyways. The same people still work there so paying them any kind of money would be just paying them for shitty programming and service – something Microsoft still offers for free on MSN (for now).

If you receive your Yahoo mail through POP3 the service ends on April 24th..unless you change your marketing settings to “no”…
then it ends immediately

Is is also on non Yahoo Groups accounts. To get there other then yahoo groups you go to the bottom of the main yahoo.com page, and click the newly updated Privacy Policy link. Then you can continue on from step 2.
