Wanna sell me a car?
Okay, I think I want to lease a 2006 Acura TSX (with a few bells and whistles, like the navigation system and MP3/WMA add-in). My lease with Honda is up in another month, so I have to “scramble” to get my next car lined up before then. There have been fantastic suggestions in my Acura vs. Lexus post, including links to no-dicker resources and/or the idea of getting a car sponsored by any given dealership. I’m wondering if I should reverse engineer this entire car leasing process? Who wants to give me an offer I simply can’t refuse? I’m throwing my business out there – who wants it?

Chris, I’m glad that you know what you want, But the present TSX is in it’s final Production cycle and will be replaced next year by a new design.
The Lexus is Brand new, much better front to rear balance because it’s rear wheel drive, Better overall structual integrety than theAcura, meaning much less or no squeeks or rattles and a much more solid feeling car.
In reality Lexus doesn’t really make a car that competes with the TSX, the IS250-350 is really designed to go head to head against the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, Mercedes C class and the Infinity G35 line of cars.
This is why the low end IS250 competes against the well optioned TSX.and the IS350 can easily cost up to 45.000 dollars with all options.
I’m not trying to get you to buy anything from me, I’m not in the car sales buisness, it’s just that I wanted to inform you about your choices the way you’ve informed me about Software etc…
Either way, have fun.

Well you know I’m not going to recommend anything but an Audi. Or maybe a VW Passat. That thing is loaded with gadgets for the money, and a helluva car (and built on the same platform as my A3).

Don’t get another TSX! You know that’s really a re-badged Honda Accord? Go to Europe and it’s a Honda. Pseudo luxury, IMO. I’d prefer the Lexus over it as the Lexus is brand new and stunning looking (the TSX is about to be replaced and is front wheel drive … bad!). Others to look at: 3-Series, Audi A4, even the new Infiniti G35 coming out.

i have an 2005 Acura TL with navigation and i love it. I have always driven either honda or acura mostly acura. So i would recommend it . my mom had a 93 acura Legend and she wrecked it and totaled it and got out the car pretty safe. i haven’t had any problems with acura there navigation is the best. and i love there audio system. some time this fall they are going to release a new tl and i am going to buy it. i also i do not recommend leasing vehicles they wast money
