Wakka Wakka Wakka

Most of you have probably already seen the amazing SMB3 video that's been floating around the 'Net lately. I think Chris found something that tops it. With these files, you can play a mean game of Pac Man or Space Invaders directly in Excel. They each come close to reviving the classic coin-op sights and sounds. At least, enough for me to care enough to post about 'em.

You have to be careful though, on a slower computer (like the one I use at work for example) the game is slow as hell, and will bring the rest of your system down as well.

Unfortunately, that's a confirmed fake.
They used a japanese based emulator which allows you to record videos while playing, and if you load a state it will rewind the recording back there and make it look like nothing happened, and the mistake that they made just never existed.
They loaded the state 40k + times.
To view the following file you will need Famtasia and an original japanese SMB3 NES rom. Don't ask for links.

It is still really damn cool, though.
