Verizon
We're with Verizon for at least another year. They've been good to us so far, although I stand firm in my belief that Verizon owes me $520 for erroneous data overage charges (due to our first idiot Verizon sales rep). Not sure if Verizon is ever going to do the right thing by me, but… they continue to be the mobile phone company that annoys me the least. We were assigned new numbers from a local store today, but they're not quite as memorable as our old ones. I suppose I could give you my old cell phone number, but… I wouldn't want to annoy the next user. The best mobile phone number I ever had was 515-SPY-HARD. Verizon doesn't really have any cool number combos, although the last digits of my current mobile device spells BYTE (so long as you add the E to the end of it). Our service plan changed, too – mine got cheaper, and Ponzi's got more expensive. We both dropped text and picture messaging, too.

Today's the day (Feb 1) where Verizon rolls out its EV-DO phones with near broadband speed when used as a modem for your laptop, (No wi-fi hotspot needed), and the beginning of the launch of V-Cast with 3G video streaming and more.
Though Verizon may not have the brightest bulbs illuminating their customer service centers, as you put, they do have the least annoying service overall plus without a doubt the best coverage.
I'm picking up the new LG VX8000 tomorrow with all the new goodies onboard except Bluetooth.
Btw, I told you Ponzi would love Seattle too.
Miss you guys at Chili My Soul.

Chris:
Did you get the new Verizon Family Plan that costs about $60.00 a month?
I have a Family share plan now, for three of us and my daughter who is in Georgia, is also is on the family plan. Zero cost in time when using the family plan.
Yours,
Eddie A.
