Twitter Remembers Everything
Have you ever said something so stupid when you were with a friend – the friend you were with threatened to share what you said with the rest of the world when they got home? “I’m *SO* gonna Twitter this.” Only, largely, the twittering never seems to happen.
Back in the days of ISCA, we had a forum called “Quotes>” and that’s what we used against friends and lunchmates (if they said something stupid – or stupidly funny). It was a bit more depressing when someone didn’t quote something stupid you said, actually.
These digital posterity outlets are perfect for “you had to be there” moments, rendering relatively obscure comments even MORE obscure when viewed completely out of context. You’ll be able to dig up the things you said a year ago and wonder… what the hell you, or your friends, were thinking.
Maybe some memories are best left for the mind?

Haha, thats a great comic strip. Ideas like Twitter are starting to get more popular, and I hope that more people start using it. There was some event that Cali Lewis went to last week, and it had a lot of people talking about Twitter.

Chris,
I just recently got into podcasting and of course comming with that was Twitter. I use twitter to keep up with the question “what are you doing?” Well, I find the following video quite helpful in describing Twitter to my friends and family who just don’t get it. Also, I would like to give credit where it is deserved–I heard about this video from Cali Lewis of GeekBrief.tv. Here it is!
