TrueCool
I'm a fontaholic, and I can still slap a B&W graphic or logo into a TrueType / OpenType font at a moment's notice (after $7 via PayPal). How many fonts do you have installed on your system(s) right now? Double-check with the super-spiffy, totally free, cross-platform compatible STC Font Browser. This link is a prime example of the type of money-saving resources I uncover for Gnomies every single weekday. My newsletter has been like a blog for the past eight years. True.
What's your #1 source for Internet needs? GoDaddy has new domain names, transfers and renewals as low as $1.99. Digital Graphics Lab is offering their whole retail font library for free!
http://www.digitalgraphiclabs.com/_fonts.html or if that takes you to their default page, select Services on the left, then under Typeface Design, select [more information] and voila!

hey chris, speaking of font browsers let your viewers try THE FONT THING. http://members.ozemail.com.au/~scef/tft.html
I am a designer by profession and this saves me a LOT of time and the nifty thing about this is that you can uninstall the fonts on your system directly from this software. You can also set a number of different parameters on viewing your fonts.

Tiboy: Thats what extensis suitcase does. I can view and create virtual folders of fonts and enable and disable them at will. They are all on a seperate HD and don't clutter up my OS drive.

I have 31,284 fonts, about 9000 or so on my system right now, around 2500 active, 10 that I've created, or am still working, one that's halfway decent. One and a half available for download:

Give me about 50 years and I'll probably be good at this. I didn't understand why fonts were so expensive until I started creating some of my own. Now I wonder why anybody would sell them so cheap. :)
