I know, it is even worse for me now. Now that they have change to the new live time I don't get to watch CFH but maybe once a week. I liked it better when they replayed the show at midnight I was able to watch it. I miss my CFH!!!

True… but that is why I am probably going to buy a ReplayTV unit. After all, I wear my Call For Help shirt with pride but when people ask me about it then I can only explain a show I managed to catch 3 weeks ago.

hehe… There's still a rerun? They've pushed TSS back so far I don't watch that anymore. I can't be watching tv at 2am.

I get home at 2:45 from school…I could catch the last 15 minutes but I don't even bother. And I'll watch CFH at 5 if I know its going to be a good show or if I feel like turning on the laptop and going to the other room.
Its just not the same when its not “live” at 5pm…I'm going to try and call in Monday when I have the day off…if not that, then during the Thanksgiving holiday.

A little from Column 'A' and a little from Column 'B' . I had an early release day from school today, and tried to call in, and nothing.. Dang!

Oh yah, let me comment on that. I tried calling in on Tuesday and NO ONE ever answered the phone before the show many times over before the show…and no one ever came to the Netcam Cineplex…that pissed me off.

I TiVo the show and watch it when its convenient so it's not much of an issue for myself.
The more I hear about the inner workings of TechTV, the more I get the feeling someone is intentionally set the ship's course directly into the rocks. I'm betting they want it to fail now just so they can sink the tech theme, and launch a new network with totally different, more broad reaching programming.

I've come to this conclusion: Geeks do not like change. Anyone that was around back during the ZDTV days is mad to what has happened to the channel when Paul Allen bought it from Ziff Davis. I think the one show that would help revive the channel is: INTERNET TONIGHT.

I don't know. I think I was watching a rerun of “The Soprano's” at that time.

I work from home. The time change didn't effect me. It's actually nice to watch it during lunch time. The TSS show I usually have to watch later on at 8PM MST because i'm making supper when it's on live. They should change that time schedule.

I want to be able to watch “Call For Help” again.

Unfortunately working nights, my only option was the 3a.m. (eastern) repeat. Once the constant shuffling of programming started, I had to bail. The canned stuff (”Tech Of,” “TechnoGames,” etc.) doesn't appeal to me in the least. I want my Pirillo fix, but I can't chase stuff around the clock.

Apparently I'm the only one that likes the new time slot! I go to work at 2:30 (central time) so I could only catch it on the late repeat or the next morning. So… I only caught it maybe once a week. Just this week I've been able to see it 3 times already. I LOVE the new time!

Every late night instead of infomericals it should be all repeats CFH and TSS all night long!!!!!!!!

Well I've already told you that I hate that it's thrown my day off and I'm stuck watching a rerun most days instead of the live show. But I'll watch whenever and whereever…I just wish they didn't make it so difficult when it was already such a part of my daily routine…

Truth of it is, for some people its great to have the time change….but for more people than not it's horrible. CFH might've gotten some new viewers but they lost more than they gained due to the time slot change.

The time change doesn't really affect me that much, but still it seems like a bad idea. There should be at least a third repeat of CFH late night in case we missed it. With the new times, if you miss it at five you're out of luck.

I just count on my trusty VCR and enjoy 5 hours of Chris on the weekend when I have more TV watching time.

Thank god for tivo! Now I can watch call for help anytime I want. Now if I only had cable here at work so I could watch it live. :)

True. Eastern Time 2:00pm at work 5:00pm if I rush home I can catch it part of it. I just got cable, cable modem and TechTV for the first time ever and I can't see the show live :(

I miss the show all the time. Our local cable company does not carry it. I believe it to be a lost cause, but I write anyway trying to get it.

I still watch live.
But have to laugh when I think of the guy that got so mad because of the time change that he couldn't watch the show live. His friend said Dude your working so you tape the show and the guy said Yeah but I taped it LIVE!!!!!!!!

Call for help used to actually be about helping, but the Screensavers has reduced itslef to that level now. Call for Help is now for entertainment while studying for your underwater basket weaving class. I don't know where I'd have to go for actual technical meat now.
