Subject: Mac Translator / coupon ?Hi Chris,
I’ve been a PC user since ever ( since my first 8088, right after the ZX81 ), and I’m decided to go for a Mac this year (I will buy my macs between september and christmas).
I had a windows apps pretty useful, called Babylon. It’s not the best apps, but I like the fact to add more dictionaries and have a word recognition, and the convertor for currency, measures, etc…. Very useful when you work on several languages, places, culture and system as I do.
I know OS X has an internal dictionary, but I didn’t find any info about a potential way to import 3rd party dictionaries.
I found ‘Translateit!’ But I’m not quite sure if this would be a real replacement for Babylon.
Do you have any advise for a translator for OS X? If yes, do you also have a coupon?
I think a lot of people would like to know. And it could also be a good video to do :)
Thanks in advance,
Phil
I can’t recommend any translator in particular, but I was able to get an exclusive 10% off coupon for Translateit. Anybody out there have any other suggestions for Phil?
Update: Phil let me know that Babylon has now become available in a Mac version. Anybody try it out yet?
