Touch My Bush

Please don't ask me why I did this. I'm trying to prepare for my appearance on David's show. We're supposed to be talking about free versus fee content, and that's something I know a lot about. Saying that you're entitled to get something without paying for it is ludicrous. Even when you pay your ISP to get access to the Internet doesn't mean you have the right to access every bit of it. Would you whine to your cable provider because they didn't give you HBO for free? I pay for anything that I think is worth paying for. Like dancing president graphics. I got 'em for the low price of $4.50 apiece (Canadian).

A weird thing about fee vs. free… the RIAA site is blocked from some ISPs… such as Time Warner Road Runner, Earthlink Cable, and I am even having problems via SBC DSL at a customer's location.
But other people supposedly can see it.

I'm with you on the free vs. fee thing. Since I actually run a free/fee site with Blogrolling it's amazing the split in mindset. The people who actually donate are much nicer in their correspondence as opposed to the freeloaders who demand feature after feature but won't pony up a few bucks to support the service. BTW, The Shareware article you wrote for CPU was GREAT! It's really nice to have someone out there who's on our side.

I dont think that all content should be free. The argument of the internet vs cable is different. TV is much much more closed your not going to get people like you and me with their own shows on NBC where on the internet it is open so people who create their own content are free to do as they will.
