I cannot even get my Vista 64bit OS to update to SP1… let alone find it using the automatic update option.

Furthermore, I have all kinds of crashes/lockups when playing MMO games on my Vista OS comp. I’ll be playing LoTRO (for example) and every hour or two my comp locks up and I need to conduct a hard reboot to get it operating again.

I run:
Vista 64bit Home Premium
Core 1 Extreme 6850 Quad Core Kentsfield 3.0Ghz
4GB DDR3 Corsair 1033
G15 keyboard
SLI Dual Nvidia 8800GTS

I’ve never had Vista crash on me, in fact, I like Vista! I don’t see what’s wrong with it, and I’m not a regular user.

Windows Vista is by far the WORST Operating System ever released by Microsoft.

I work in the Geek Squad and Vista crashes on brand new computer. It’s ridiulous. Such a piece of shit. Microsoft should not have canned XP and instead should gave customers a choice. Forcing customers to BETA test vista is crazy. Vista is broken.

Installed sp1 .Couldnt log on to any websites. What a pain in the ass ,. Removed sp1 all ok .I cant believe microsoft
