Personally, I started using LinkedIn (LI) over 2 years ago to build my business network from scratch, when I moved to the Bay Area to take up a job.

Currently, LI’s a great way for me to have a single repository to build and strengthen my network from disparate sources like (a) blogging, (b) events, (c) work, (d) past colleagues, friends etc…

I also find LI Answers a nice way for me to get some perspective from a non-blogospheric crowd. Here’s a question I had on evangelism: http://tinyurl.com/3bn3sg.
