Chrome wheels are a unique situation and unfortunately we get to do very little wheel repair on chrome for multiple technical issues. The chrome plating does not lend itself to repair for curb damage, pitting or peeling. The one good highlight is that we can help when a chrome wheel isn't holding air and this fix works very well for the life of the wheel.

I bought a used freestyle elite with 3 settings for the pistons, but one of them is starting to go out. I'm considering purchasing a new sprint master with pistons, but I'm wondering if its similar to the elites freestyles 1st setting with resistance. I read on some reviews that the sprint master pistons take a lot of work to move them, and that they are too hard and not worth it. Please help! Thanks.

I have a sprintmaster and I love it. I am a seasoned jogger,I got on this thing and it whooped my butt. I love the freedom of this machine. I turn on my Lady Gaga and make up my own moves. I have never used such a versatile machine. Im on it for over an hour at a time without realizing it. I have owned treadmills and ellipticals. With this machine you dont stare at the clock when your working out. Its so fun.Worth every penny. I am so excited for spring because I am going to be pysically ahead for my jogs.

One more comment .
The gazelle does work . I like it but it is a bit boring . Use it when there is a good movie on and go a little easy and enjoy the movie . About an hour of easy should replace a short fast work out .
Also get a freestyle elite or another with the pistons . I have one with and one without and i can tell you that the one without is like doing nothing . I have to go hard for at least 25 minutes before my heart rate even increases much at all . The elite with pistons is a work out . I just got it and after fixing the squeeks only lasted about 10 minutes at the easy setting . It also has a setting that is just like not having the pistons .

Squeeks bad ! Yep it does . So what to do about it . I fixed mine . Here is how to do it .
Take out the bar in the handles by removing the screws at the bottom middle ( rear ) two screws and one side at the middle where the two frames cross and the two sides at the handle bars . If your has the pistons remove them at the handle bar by removing one screw . The bar will be rough around the point where the plastic ( why not a bearing ? this is cheap crap ) bushing rides on the bar . I used a fine cut off disc from my dremmle to sand the bar smooth . 400 grit wet/dry paper would do a good job . make sure you only smooth it and do not make it out of round and make your sand scratches go around the pipe and not side to side . Next in the hole on the side rails where the pipe goes in there will be a worn spot on the bottom edge . I folded up some duct tape and put it in the hole on the bottom . A piece about 1/2 inch wide and about 5 layers thick . ( use a piece of leather instead of duct tape to last longer ) . When you stuff in the bar it will stop the bar from squeeking on the edge of the hole . Now get some good high temp bearing grease from the auto supply store . Use this on the bar . slide the bar back in one handle and then stick the bar in the side rail hole making sure the tape stays put . put in screw . Slide on other handle and do the same .
You should find now that the squeeking has stopped .

the squeeking is caused from the bar being made of cheap soft steel and a plastic bushing . these machines are junk . Why they do not use good steel and a bearing is beyond me but I guess since they do not sell replacement parts that is a good deal for them as you will be buying a new machine when this on wears out .

I also need power pistons for an older Gazelle elite model. The company has discontinued the model with pistons... and has no parts. They sent me to Craigs List... but ... no luck...

I love my machine... any ideas?

I couple years ago (2005) I bought the Gazelle to help me lose weight. I signed up for the military and was 166lbs so I started doing the gazelle for a little over an hour (6miles) a day for 5 days. I would always feel the muscles hurting the day after which kept me excited about it and sure enough within 2 months I dropped down to 143lbs. I did change my diet though no soda or junk food and I'd buy slim fast bars if I was craving chocolate then after I'd eat one I do the gazelle to burn off the 120calories. I love this machine very fun and quick results. I've just recently bought the gazelle edge and have been getting back into it. It seems tougher then my last one and I absolutely love it.

I have had the Gazelle for almost 2 weeks and love it. It's very low impact and I feel great. I've lost 7 pounds and 1 full inch. The easiet way to use it if your like me and im pretty lazy always watching tv. I put it in front of the tv half an hour in the morning and half an hour at night and sometimes I stay on longer without even realising it. it's a great machine. Much easier to use I'm just beginning to get out of my bad habits and with this machine i am doing it but slowly so I don't notice to much of a change.

I also am having the problem with the monitor staying at 0. This is on my Gazelle Platinum that I also purchased 2nd hand. Did anyone find a solution to this, or is it broken?
thanks! Please e-mail reply to hemahara@gmail.com

I have one. I had a very bad knee and couldn't walk, nearly. Now I can walk, run and dance due to the Gazelle. It's great
to get a workout on if your injured.

so i lived with this one girl in north carolina who was trying to lose weight for her wedding.. i think she faithfully used the gazelle every morning and at night for like 4 months and wouldn't you know that fat annoying beeyatch lost enough weight that she actually looked kinda good! Too bad it doesnt help with nasty attitudes.. but i have to give her that.. she did lose a ton of weight enough so that i was like.. hmmm maybe i should get one.. Tony Little can be annoying to some people but i have the utmost respect for that man.. i believe in anything that guy stands behind..
