For an important wedding anniversary our son gave us a gift certificate with limo ride to one of the best restaurants in the United States: The French Laundry. Worth every penny & then some.
Every so often you have to splurge and go for the best. I hope your dinner lived up to advance billing, as I still remember mine from 4 years ago.
