Bleh... sometimes the comments really ruin it for me. That sounded so profound and lovely at first.
I remember 8.08am on 8/8/88 :)

I think they were referring to perfect symmetry, with 2002, 20/02, at 20:02, as opposed to simply the same number in year, date, and time.
Still, Dave was right... it will happen again in 110 years.
**blowing party horn**
Happy... symmetrical time month/day/minute?

What about 8:01 on January 20th, 2001
20:01 20/01 2001
or 8:03 on March 20th, 2003
20:03 20/03 2003
or 8:04 on April, 20th, 2004
20:04 20/04 2004
or 8:05 on May 20th, 2005
20:05 20/05 2005
etc...
Don't mean to burst any bubbles, but it will happen again each year for at least the next 10 years, until 2012. It happens for 12 years out of every 100.
7:01 on January 19th, 1901
19:01 19/01 1901 etc.

Dave beat me to ask the question I was thinking too. But 20:02 looks cooler, and I doubt too many of us will be around in 110 years to see 2112.
On a side note, I wonder how Brian thinks you will go to his blog without leaving an address for it?
