The second time he asked for his share back, he got dumped and I paid for the diamond and I kept it ! I enjoy wearing it now ! You did the right thing to get her what she liked. And she ll cherish them forever.

For almost all of the 4 years I kept postponing buying any diamonds cause I could never logically understand what was so great about buying a sparkling stone. As it is my wife is very pragamatic and quite geeky so I thought she would not be greatly impressed with me splurging money. And my poor lil darling never complained. This time just for a lark I bought her a diamond ring (our wedding band was a gold ring) and she was beaming forever:) and now she is running around town showing it to everyone she knows and I am getting a lot of brownie points;) I am also getting a lot of threats from friends whose wives are pestering them for a ring;D It took me 4 years of married life to realize that diamonds are indeed a girl’s best friend.
