When you lament that there should be a killer social networking app, I have news for you. There IS, and it's called the web. If you have an FTP client, Windows notepad (or something like it), and a little bit of time to use some basic HTML tags, you can create web pages that link to the web pages of your friends, post photos, collect and present comments, and all sorts of neat stuff. The web is the best killer social networking app ever created and its a shame people have so forgotten that they are drawn to using social networking services that are redundantly built atop of it.
