Hmm… Interesting… I'm taking a look at the source code… Does this work in browsers other than IE? Well, I suppose I could just go look myself. Nope, it's just plain text in Mozilla. But still interesting…

Nice touch Chris,
Gotta love it

This is so fascinating! What is it? I'm all excited now :) Hehe. Seriously, though, what is it?

Ya, i looked at the code, nothing i could see as weird, how u do it?

Ok I saved it. I cheated though. I hit print screen and captured the desktop then went into Print Shop and cut and paste it. I know. I need help.

Okay i saved the code to make, but i needed to go down to the pc to do it(cause your blog isn't mac friendly at all), so i guess i saved it, but not as a image but as in code, i was gonna post this text with that markup, but i read now that there is no html, man thats sad, lol

I'm lame (don't shake your head at me) I saved it but did I? why do you do this to me when I feel like this man??? you are a brat!!
*mwah*

That's pretty cool - XML usage? Could be interesting doing a whole post like that!

I know that. Have played with that couple of years back. It's calles Vector Markup Language(VML). You can find more details here,
http://www.w3.org/TR/NOTE-VML or here
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/author/vml/Default.asp

I think I missed the whole idea of “father post” but I'll go back and look again….
Anyway, looking for something infinately better then Mandrake or Red Hat? Check out SuSE 8.0 or 8.1… It is a wonderful distrobution, and you don't have to spend 3 days setting up and modifiyng config files and fixing library dependancies!
If you can't nab a copy or don't wanna spend the money for the Professional version, shoot me an e-mail, I'll send you the CD's for it.
Big plus, it comes with Evolution Mail Client, and is gpg compatable!

OHHHHH the xml/vrml thrown in there, Galeon displayed it as text, and showed the XML/VRML code…
heh, there has to be more to it!

Me = OS X user = confused.
Is this effect worthy of taking the time to dust off the Windows machine to check out? Considering I have no life, what the hell…

Saw the code, saw the comment to use IE. I use Mozilla 1.2b and nothing showed up. When I pasted the URL into IE I saw - looks likes somthing I have done earlier with layers in CSS. I didn't keep up with that because it was not cross-browser but IE specific.

Not a graphic. True, much like the Hungover Wife. Excellent example of VML. Keep up the great work

Im a Phoenix user myself ;) Which means that your post makes absolutly no sence to me at all ;)

Damn… All this time I thought VML wasn't supported.

Sometimes I'm too blonde for my own good…

I just ate a whole package of thin mints trying to figure it out and still have no idea.
Thanks a lot Chris.

Was there a point in this besides making everyone feel inferior? *smirks*

Does it count if I highlight more than just the “Try to save this…” part? I found that if I hightlight everything starting after they last period and move up through the “This is Not a Graphic” title that it all copies to the clip board.

All I can say is “cool”. I used IE 6, Mozilla 1.1, and Phoenix 0.4. Phoenix and Mozilla just showed text, but IE makes it look like a graphic.

You can hilight it for copying to the Clipboard but if you open up your Clipboard to view it you see” After some digging I found that it is VML. Good job Chris!

Weird… where did that go? Anyway it said Cannot display. Data in Clipboard is in an unknown format.

IE 5 doesn't display a thing.
I should try to convince the tyrants that they need to upgrade IE here at work.
Of course.. if i told them why, they'd fire me… so.. nevermind.

ooohh!!
what name of coding.

What Do You Think?
