This Is Addictive
I just realized that it's been about three whole days since I last checked my favorite Geek Clicks: ActiveWin, NeoWin, Warp2Search, and
NT Compatible. I've been so wrapped up in getting this blog up and off the ground. In fact, I've shared my enthusiasm to David Lawrence, too. He had Mena from Movable Type on his nationally-syndicated radio show tonight, singing the praises of her product. Justifiably. Seems as though she and her husband are currently unemployed – still searching for some way to support themselves. So, I say to you all: if you're considering a server-side blogging tool with a little bite, give MT a shot. I just started using it, myself. Gretchen's never blogged before, but I believe she's getting used to the way things work. She was one of Doc's top referrers yesterday! I'm telling you. Bloggers with boobies are da bomb.
I find myself constantly checking Weblogs.com to check on the freshest entries. This is addictive. Like, I was enjoying Oliver Willis's link to a Mac fan parody page a few hours ago. Dude blogs about as much as I do! Oh, and it looks as though MT has won over yet another blogger who writes screenplays. Which, by the way, was the subject of today's CFH interview. That was about the only part of the show that I didn't screw up. Eh. Ya win some, ya lose some.
I don't know what I've done. “And this is news?” No, I mean – I was checking the Daypop Top 40 and found C:\PIRILLO.EXE listed as number 8 with a green triangle next to it. That was 3 seconds ago, though. I just checked and I'm down to 11 with a red triangle. By the time I press the POST button, I'll have slipped to somewhere near 27. Well, as long as the shape doesn't turn into a dodecahedron, I should be okay. Blogdex currently has me at number 4. I don't really know what that means, though. My freshness rating is pretty decent, supposedly. I dunno. Last time I used soap in the shower was… some time this morning.
Wil's lunchbox is now going for a little over $100.
