I really connected with each of your statements- teacher, christian, human, american. Each of those roles come with a certain type of responsibility. Really our biggest responsibilities in each of those areas is centered around loving others. I liked your comment about being a teacher. We all have influence in other people's lives whether we realize it or not. You said, "Why should I have excess when others have none?" That statement really resonated with me. It has been on my mind a lot lately. I really have a lot more than I need. If I gave up those extra items how much money would be left to contribute to others?
